Welcome to Highroad Physical Education where we strive to help our students thrive and bring glory to God in all we do.

PE Philosophy

  • Learning to develop our physical abilities through sports and fitness is essential to our overall health and wellbeing. Our Physical Education program at Highroad Academy is designed to help students learn physical skills, get stronger and gain confidence in their physical abilities.

PE Assessment:

  • Physical Education Assessment focuses the following areas:
    • Physical – Performance, Skills and Techniques
    • Leadership – Initiative, Effort and Participation
    • Knowledge – Physical and Health Education
    • Fitness – Physical Fitness

Daily Fitness:

  • Learning how to move our bodies well and get stronger is a key part of our physical education curriculum. All students are expected to participate in daily physical fitness exercises each class and monitor their progress over the course of the year.
